Many older adults experience loneliness and feel socially isolated. But we know that these vivacious, wise and interesting seniors are full of stories, stories that need to be heard.
To combat this epidemic of loneliness and foster connection and well-being, in 2024 we launched our first Senior Community Writing Group at the Palisades Branch Library. After the January 2025 L.A. wildfires, we relocated to the Westwood Branch. That same month, we launched our second group at the Studio City Branch Library.
